What is Skate A Million Miles?
It's an annual event started by the Roller Skate Association to promote a healthy lifestyle.  It focuses on the health benefits of roller skating.  For 8 weeks, participants earn 'miles' for each session skated.  1 skate session = 5 miles.

Our miles are tallied and sent to the RSA after the 8 week event.  Our skate centers' miles are added to the other participating rinks' miles.  Together the goal is to reach 1,000,000 miles skated.

When is it and how do I sign up?

What's in it for you?
Besides the great health benefits and exercise, participants can earn free skate passes, bracelets, and a t-shirt, depending on the number of miles they've skated/earned.

How many laps really = 1 mile?
If you skate inside of the yellow circle, 30 laps ~ 1 mile.  If you skate in the outside blue, 25 laps ~ 1 mile.
